MULTILING CORPORATION CELEBRATES TWENTY YEARS IN BUSINESS WITH A WORLD’S FAIR

MultiLing Corporation Hosts First Annual World’s Fair to Celebrate with the Community 20 Years in Business

April 29, 2008– Provo, UTAH – MultiLing Corporation, a Utah-based language services and technology company with offices worldwide, celebrated its twentieth year in business this month. To celebrate, MultiLing hosted a World’s Fair celebration on Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at their worldwide headquarters in Provo, Utah.

MultiLing was co-founded in 1988 by current President and CEO Michael V. Sneddon and Daniel Oswald. MultiLing Corporation provides translation and language services to customers with multilingual needs in the global community, which include many Fortune 500 companies. MultiLing has in Germany, Italy, Peru, Korea, and Japan, and has more than 120 full-time employees.

To celebrate their 20th anniversary, MultiLing Corporation hosted the first annual MultiLing World’s Fair. The event kicked off with brief remarks from Derek Miller, Managing Director of the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development; Wayne Parker, Chief Administrative Officer of the City of Provo, and Michael Sneddon, President and CEO of MultiLing. Following their remarks, a dance group composed of elementary school children from the community performed a native Bolivian rain dance.

Guests then enjoyed presentations from students throughout the state of Utah. Groups of students were invited to prepare a creative presentation on a country, with a sponsoring teacher. The best performance or presentation won a $1,000 award ,which was shared among the winning team and their teacher. The winning team came from the AP Government class at Mountain Crest High School in Hyrum, Utah, and their teacher was Margaret Obray. “I am so pleased to celebrate our twentieth year in business,” said Michael Sneddon, President and CEO of MultiLing Corporation. “I wish to express my thanks to the team at MultiLing, the community we work with, and our clients around the world for making this twentieth anniversary a reality.” MultiLing will continue the World’s Fair and country contest each year as an annual celebration.
