MultiLing Announces New Customer Win with
QLogic
Language Services Company Increases Client Portfolio
with Tech Giant QLogic
OCTOBER 10, 2004 – Provo, UTAH – MultiLing
Corporation, a Utah-based language services company, recently announced
the customer win of QLogic, a leading tech company that powers storage
area networks (SANs) based on SCSI, Internet SCSI (iSCSI) and Fibre
Channel technologies.
MultiLing Corporation provides translation and language services
to clients with multi-lingual customers in the global community.
MultiLing has experienced significant growth in the past few years
with the addition of high-profile clients such as Dell, LSI Logic,
GE Healthcare, Intuit, and ThermoElectron. The addition of QLogic
further increases MultiLing’s client portfolio, which includes
some of the most reputable names in the tech market.
“QLogic’s selection of MultiLing for software and documentation
translation is a significant win for MultiLing,” said Michael
Sneddon, President of MultiLing Corporation. “This represents
an important symbiotic relationship as we feel we can provide QLogic
with the best language service needs at an extremely competitive
price. We are pleased and extremely excited with our growing and
continuous relationship with QLogic.”
QLogic has a vision of a SAN in every business and offers the only
end-to-end storage area network (SAN) infrastructure in the industry.
QLogic produces the controller chips, host bus adapters (HBAs),
fabric switches and management software that are the backbone of
storage networks for most Global 2000 corporations.
“From a program management perspective,” said QLogic’s
Senior Program Manager. “I thought that MultiLing did an excellent
job. They were on time, they kept us abreast of where they were
and when things needed to be done – and when it was crunch
time, MultiLing delivered.”
As part of the initial project, QLogic selected MultiLing to translate
software and accompanying documentation into multiple languages
in connection with the fibre channel host bus adapter (HBA) line.
Additional projects will continue to focus on network storage technologies.
“MultiLing will be our localization partner,” said
QLogic’s Product Marketing Manager. “We were looking
for a turnkey solution and MultiLing was able to not complicate
us with the processes involved in the translation. We think MultiLing
is the right choice.”
