MultiLing has developed a translation management system (TMS) called Advantis^TM to manage the actual translation process for high volume localization and translation projects. The Advantis^TM translation management system allows the translation process to proceed in logical steps and automates much of this process. Once a project's information has been recorded and submitted, the Advantis^TM workflow system is able to recognize the source languages, target languages, document attributes, and other project-specific items and automatically associate the source files with the most pertinent translation memories and dictionaries.

The Advantis^TM system is then able to manage the remaining steps of the process, direct the necessary files to the responsible terminologists, translators, reviewers, and publishing specialists, and coordinate all remaining efforts in the translation process. Advantis^TM ensures that the translation is completed effectively and efficiently, reducing the potential for human error and producing high quality results every time.
