MultiLing, a Provo-based provider of intellectual property language translation and support services, recently announced that it has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification — the internationally recognized set of quality management standards from the International Organization of Standardization. At the same time, the company has also achieved ISO 17100:2015 certification, the ISO standard specifically designed for language services providers.
MultiLing had previously achieved both the ISO 9001:2008 and the EN 15038 certifications. With these new quality certifications officially in place, MultiLing has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that its clients receive consistently high quality translation services across the globe, for more than 200 unique language pair combinations.
“MultiLing serves some of the world’s most sophisticated and demanding patent filers,” said Jeremy Coombs, vice president of operations at MultiLing. “Our clients need, and expect, that every translation will be accurate. Earning the most current ISO certifications for both ISO 9001 and ISO 17100 provides our clients with a great deal of confidence that MultiLing adheres to the rigorous standards set forth by ISO, follows consistent processes around the world and delivers exceptional quality to its clients.”
