SALT LAKE CITY, Utah–Sept 5, 2017–MultiLing, the world’s premier provider of intellectual property language translation and support services, today announced the appointment of Jim Watson, MBA, as Vice President of Global Sales. With more than 22 years of sales leadership experience working with Fortune 500 companies, Watson will expand MultiLing’s strategic selling endeavors and focus on addressing the translation needs of new clients.
“Mr. Watson, like others at MultiLing, is a man of integrity who does what he says he is going to do and works diligently to solve customer’s obstacles,” said Michael Sneddon, MultiLing CEO. “The company’s growth with enterprise clients has necessitated our adding additional sales DNA.”
With the strong pace of 2017 revenue growth comes the need for more direct focus on the unique needs of clients in the IP translation space.
Michael Degn, formerly the VP of North America Sales, will focus on fine tuning the customer experience for MultiLing’s top clients as he steps into the new role of VP of Account Management.
“The combined efforts of Degn and Watson on behalf of our clients will be very powerful, moving forward,” Sneddon said.
Watson comes to Utah from Minnesota, where he most recently worked as VP of National Accounts at Xact Data Discovery and VP of Sales at its sister company, Orange Research Group. Throughout his career he has worked with large corporations, legal teams, and national class law firms. His strength is leading his sales teams to meet and then exceed clients’ expectations.
Watson graduated with a Bachelor’s from the University of Iowa and earned an MBA from Drake University.
