As MultiLing’s 25th anniversary year draws to a close, the company continues its new pace of growth with leadership, investments, and a laser-focused strategy on IP translations.
The company today released news of a new position – senior vice president of strategy and technology – to be filled by Kevin Nelson. In this role, Nelson is expected to fortify the company’s position as the innovative leader in IP translation services and lead multi-million dollar technology initiatives to scale the company’s professional business services for multinational enterprises.
Nelson brings nearly two decades of experience as a technology management executive and most recently worked with OmniLingua Worldwide. His past experience includes increasing profitability, integrating international teams and creating talent-retaining environments for translation providers and other global enterprises.
“In 2014, we’re investing millions of dollars in the best people, processes and technologies available for the translation and filing of foreign patent applications by Global 500 legal teams in U.S., European and Asian markets,” said Lyle Ball, chief operating officer, MultiLing. “Kevin’s vast experience in driving strategic translation industry initiatives qualifies him to architect and implement technologies that meet our clients’ rigorous requirements for quality, consistency and on-time delivery at a fair value.”
